I have lived, worked, studied, and written about the Middle East and North Africa since 1998. Having moved there as a young person, I have an understanding that can only come from feeling steeped in the region's cultural and social norms, alongside a deep knowledge of the politics, history, religion, and current affairs of the region. I am nerdily passionate about keeping abreast of what is happening and providing quality, well-thought-through analysis of the Middle East.

As a former non-profit Chief Operating Officer, I know what it takes to run a growing organization. I have helped to build a NGO from the ground up, from registration to internal systems, to yearly activity planning, and can help you structure, systemize, and plan for now and the future.

Many years of working with women, youth, and other marginalized communities in the Middle East and North Africa have given me a unique insight into not only the struggles these communities face, but also the aspirations they have for the future. I can help tap into these communities, reach out to youth and women leaders, and make sure that their voices are heard.

With more than 10 years experience in politics and international development, I have written reports, researched current affairs and historical resources, developed curricula, and used my knowledge to advise high-level leaders in politics, government, and civil society about the Middle East, civil society, human rights, and real policy solutions to the struggles we face.

I have overseen the production of more than 15 live, televised debates seen throughout the Middle East. I know the rigors of a shooting schedule, and can manage the process from A to Z, overseeing technical teams, art design teams, and community outreach.
